In this workshop students will create a cherry pie with an intricate lattice top that will be displayed in a handmade Al Chandronnait basket, adorned with a checkered cloth and silk ribbon. An extra pie pan and materials will be supplied for students to make another pie on their own at home.

In this workshop students will create a pie baking contest scene. Students will make six pies to enter into the Annual Cape Cod Pie Baking Contest: a pumpkin pie with decorative maple leaves, a cherry pie with an intricate lattice top, a chocolate silk pie, a strawberry pie, an orange chiffon pie and a banana cream pie.
The instructor will provide each student with an aged table handmade by Al Chandronnait to display their pies on. All miniature accessories including pie tins, paper plates, silverware, pie server, table cloth, contest signage, mini voting ballots and prize ribbons will be provided to complete the scene.
A generous amount of materials and a detailed instruction booklet will be provided so students can make more miniature pies at home. A cookbook containing the real recipes for each pie that was made in class will also be given to each student.
